I had such a wonderful mini break here on my first solo holiday and couldn’t have stayed in a better place! Mark and Sarah are so friendly and knowledgeable of the area, recommending some excellent day trips and local cafes! I especially loved the outdoor bath and walk to the beach nearby. Will absolutely be back to stay soon!

What an amazing few days at The Lookout. Everything you and your pup could ask for in a small, cosy, comfortable house. Our stay was filled with coastal walks, BBQ’s and an amazing outdoor bath tub! We fully recommend a visit. 🐾

We had the most wonderful weekend staying at the shepherds hut. Woodstock retreat is perfectly located with easy access to so many beautiful beaches and places to explore nearby.
The hut was beautifully decorated, well planned out and equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
Everything was immaculately clean and so cosy. The surrounding views were breathtaking and so tranquil to wake up to every morning. The bed was so comfortable and fitted with the most luxurious sheets. We loved listening to the birds and watching the goats and rabbits hop around in the field opposite.
The bbq was a great addition, we really enjoyed cooking and sitting outside on the terrace watching the sunset in the evenings.
Sarah and Mark were fantastic hosts, so welcoming and accommodating. Always there to help and on hand if we needed anything. We would recommend Woodstock retreat to everyone, and we can’t wait to hopefully come back soon ourselves!

We’ve just left after a fantastic stay at Woodstock Ark. The whole set up is brilliant. You have plenty of space, the Ark itself is quirky, cosy and well decorated. It has everything you could possibly need.
The hosts were brilliant and they provided us with a little basket of bread, milk, butter, towels for the dogs and a blanket for them too, which was a lovely touch!
They have 3 friendly labradors on site, but did ask us if we minded the dogs. Having 2 dogs ourselves, we did not mind at all but it’s great they do check incase you’re not a dog person!
The Ark is actually more spacious than I was expecting due to a recent extension. Before this it may have been a bit of a squeeze with both the dogs, but the new room seems lovely. There’s a wood burner which we did light of an evening which soon warms the whole place up.
We really enjoyed our stay, and how friendly the hosts were. Thank you Mark & Sarah, we will definitely be back! We can’t wait to try out The Lookout next time!

My partner and I stayed in The Lookout for the first few nights of our honeymoon and would highly recommend it! It's so beautiful, comfortable and tastefully decorated, and Sarah and Mark were very kind and helpful. We loved the bath on the deck, and appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. From the farm, you can walk easily to a stunning stretch of the coastline too. The perfect place for a relaxing getaway - hopefully we'll be back!

We booked two nights in the Lookout which was gorgeous, so comfortable and luxurious and beautifully designed. We didn’t want to leave so stayed an extra night in the Shepherds Hut which was also super comfortable, beautifully designed and has everything you need.
